Bookeo's online booking engine uses an advanced hosting architecture that ensures high availability and scalability even in case of natural disasters.
Bookeo adopts a policy of triple redundancy: each server has 2 identical replicas, that can take over in case of unforeseen problems.
Each replica server is hosted in a different datacenter, run by a different hosting company, located in a different city.
So even if there is a hardware failure, or a major problem affecting an entire datacenter, Bookeo will switch automatically to a different datacenter, and your business will keep running unaffected.
Each datacenter features redundant power generators, redundant network connections and restricted security access.
Our servers are distributed across 3 geographical zones, with 3 datacenters in each zone.
Currently the zones are:
Having servers close to where you are means that the response time of every web page is faster, for you and your customers.
Data is backed up in real time to two replica servers. Thanks to continuous backup, the backup is usually never more than few seconds old.
In addition to dual continuous backups, we further take 4 daily backup snapshots, stored on separate redundant cloud servers for historical purposes.
Bookeo's online tour booking system is PCI-DSS compliant, and assessed daily by a third-party PCI approved vendor.
PCI-DSS compliance is required for any company handling and/or storing credit card details.
By choosing a PCI-DSS compliant service like Bookeo to handle your customers' credit cards, you reduce the risk of liability to the major card networks.
As part of our PCI-DSS compliance, all our communications with businesses and customers are encrypted using SSL/TLS encryption (128 or 256 bits). This is the same level of encryption used by banks.
