Have you already switched to Google Analytics 4?

If you’ve already switched to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – the newest version of Google Analytics, you have been enjoying Bookeo’s seamless integration with this powerful new tool. If you haven’t switched to GA4 yet, now’s the time, since Google has announced that Universal Analytics will stop processing data on July 1, 2023.

Integrating GA4 with Bookeo now means your business can start leveraging GA4’s advanced data insights and unified app and website analytics.

Our integration connects your site with GA4’s new report functions, enhanced features, predictive insights for your business, and gives you a better picture of how users interact with your app and website.

To simplify your life, our tutorial walks you through the process. Here’s a quick overview:

How can I integrate GA4 into my Bookeo account?

First, install the Google Analytics tracking code on all the pages of your website by following Google’s documentation. You can then enable the GA4 integration in your Bookeo account, in Marketing>Conversion tracking and analytics.

Important: To fully track a customer’s session from traffic source to checkout, the website integration feature must be enabled in your Bookeo account in Settings>Website integration.

Can I link GA4 with Google Ads?

Yes! You can easily link GA4 with Google Ads to see the full customer journey, from how website visitors interact with your marketing to how they complete the goals you’ve set.

Once you have integrated Bookeo with GA4, simply create a conversion in your Google Ads dashboard, then integrate it into your Bookeo account Marketing>Conversion tracking and analytics.

Which Bookeo events can be tracked?

With this integration, Bookeo sends both pageviews and events to your GA4 account, generating useful reports and vital insights on your sales.

For example, the all-important “purchase” event includes the service name, its product code, and price. You can also use the GA4 console to build various reports to suit your needs based on the event data collected.
