We are excited to announce a valuable feature you’ve been requesting: Multi-factor Authentication (MFA). MFA adds an extra layer of security that strengthens the login process for your Bookeo account, thereby protecting your account data.

What is MFA and how does it work?

Rather than just asking for your username and password, MFA requires you to provide an additional authentication code when you log into your Bookeo account.

MFA adds a layer of protection to the sign-in process that makes it more difficult for an unauthorized person to access your Bookeo account. The main benefit of MFA is that it will enhance your business security.

How can I activate MFA for my Bookeo account?

To enable MFA, you need an authenticator app that produces a one-time code. You can find many free authenticator apps on Google Play, Apple App Store, Microsoft Store, or online. Popular choices include Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, and Authy.

Can I require MFA for all of my account users?

Yes, if you’re the account owner or a super-manager. You can also exempt some account users from an MFA requirement, set a specific deadline for MFA activation, and set how long the MFA code will be remembered on devices. Learn more here.
